Commercial Project Manager

Purpose and Responsibilities

This role will be responsible for leading and driving cross-functional commercial projects related to product launches and market expansion. The role is a key role within the commercial team and will be ensuring a structured as well as scalable way of working from business case through execution and follow-up, across multiple markets and functions.

This is neither an operational sales or marketing role, nor a traditional internal project management role – but rather a hybrid position with responsibility for commercial drive, governance, and delivery within an international matrix organization.

This role will be:
  • Leading and structuring commercial projects related to product and concept launches
  • Ensuring clear planning, milestones, deliverables, and follow-up across functions and markets
  • Coordinating between markets, partners, marketing, operations, and regulatory teams
  • Ensuring that market activities and commitments are executed according to plan
  • Monitoring and reporting on status, risks, dependencies, and deviations
  • Contributing to the development of processes, governance, and ways of working for commercial projects

Experience

We are looking for a candidate who has the following experience:

  • Approximately 5–7 years of experience leading complex, cross-functional projects
  • Experience working in an international and matrix-based organization
  • At least 5 years of experience in a commercial role, i.e.with responsibility for various type of relationships, agreements, and follow-ups
  • Proven track record of driving initiatives with clear business ownership (business case development, milestones, and follow-ups)
  • Experience working closely with multiple functions, including marketing, sales, operational teams, and preferably also regulatory

Competencies:

  • Strong ability to structure, prioritize, and drive complex initiatives to completion
  • Experience with project governance, steering models, and risk management
  • Experience working with product launches, market expansion, or commercial implementation
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills in an international environment
  • Fluent in Swedish and English

Preferably a background such as:

  • Project management experience within a commercial organisation
  • Commercial excellence / launch / business implementation
  • Project or program manager with strong commercial understanding
