BioGaia regularly reports information about our work to customers and investors in our sustainability report and via global reporting platforms, such as the Carbon Disclosure Project, MSCI and EcoVadis.
Ecovadis
In 2024, EcoVadis has awarded BioGaia a silver medal in its sustainability rating.
MSCI
Rank: AA – BioGaia is recognized as a sustainability leader by MSCI, which assesses companies’ resilience to long-term ESG risks. Evaluation criteria include established environmental, social, and governance risks, along with companies’ strategies for addressing and mitigating these challenges.

Nadaq
We report transparently sustainability data to Nasdaq.
Science based targets
Committed to a science-based target to reduce emissions in line with the Paris Agreement goals. In 2024, we achieved for the third consecutive year the science-based climate target for Scope 1 and 2 by purchasing 100% renewable electricity.
CDP
BioGaia reported to CDP and received a C classification for our climate reporting and work in 2024.
TIME’s list of world’s best companies in sustainable growth 2025
BioGaia has been recognized by TIME and Statista as one of the world’s top 500 companies successfully combining growth with environmental stewardship.
GRI
Sustainability reporting according to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) up to and including 2023. The 2024 report references the EU directive on corporate sustainability reporting (CSRD) and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) as a part of BioGaia’s reporting preparations for 2025 under the Swedish legislation at the time of the publication of the annual report.
