Born in 1956. Elected to the Board in 2023. Certified physician with a specialty in Ob&Gyn from the University of Umeå and a doctorate in Reproductive Physiology from the University of Gothenburg. Has upheld a number of leading positions in Swedish healthcare as head of departments both in public and private practice. Previously Managing Director for the Children’s Hospital at Karolinska University Hospital, Stockholm, and CEO for the Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Gothenburg. Formerly Chief Operating Officer for Fund Linked Products at Credit Suisse Investment Bank; currently active as a business strategist and advisor across various industries. Bocconi in Milan and has also studied business and market strategy and decision psychology at the business school HEC in Paris. Previously worked as Regional Sales Manager at BioGaia, COO at Iero, and has held various senior strategic positions within sustainable business development at the H&M Group. Extensive commercial, strategy and P&L leadership experience in the global biosolutions, food ingredients and flexible packaging sectors. Former EVP, Human Health Biosolutions at Novonesis, and Global Business Leader DuPont Nutrition & Biosciences, with responsibility for global P&L in several key growth markets.
