New positive colic study with L. reuteri Protectis

Researchers from the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada, have now presented the results of their latest study where they investigated the role of Lactobacillus reuteri Protectis in the treatment of infantile colic.

The results showed that 5 drops of L reuteri Protectis administrated daily significantly improved colic symptoms by reducing crying and fussing.

The study was published in The Journal of Pediatrics and the abstract can be read through the Journal of Pediatric website.The results of the study were also announced in a press release by BioGaia.
