Clinical Research Manager, CRM

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring clinical studies in line with BioaGaia’s Discovery and Research clinical strategy. You will manage these studies according to project plans and collaborate closely with CROs and/or principal investigators. Additionally, you will ensure timely achievement of key milestones, including scoping of clinical studies. To succeed in the position, you should bring an innovative, proactive, problem-solving, and collaborative mindset.

Main responsibilities

  • Design, implement and perform clinical trials for BioGaia, according to established Research Programs.
  • Contribute to the clinical strategy of the company, as well as designing and managing clinical studies at the scientific and operational levels.
  • Contribute to the writing of the study protocols, to discussions with principal investigators and other experts and to the scientific and budget follow-up.
  • Contribute to the scientific publication of the studies.
  • Communicate clinical project status and results.
  • Be proactively involved in managing the clinical investigators network as well as analyzing and interpreting the data obtained.
  • Perform other duties in line with the position as assigned by the company.

Experience & Skills

  • Life Science M.Sc /PhD (Microbiology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, etc.) with a strong focus on clinical evaluation of probiotics or other ingredients, -or Medical Degree in related areas.
  • 5+ years professional experience in a relevant industrial/company environment.
  • Medical practice or background highly appreciated.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical studies from design to implementation: willing to collaborate with medical investigators and to secure clinical study follow-up.

 

The role reports to Clinical & Scientific Affairs Director.
